There is a bucket sunk next to the larger pond. In the bucket there is a pump that pumps the water into the smaller top pond. The water then flows out over a joining section into the larger lower pond, and then back into the bucket.
In the bucket there is a washing machine water level sensor. When the water level in the bucket drops the sensor activates a reticulation station that flows water into the top pond and eventually raises the water level in the bucket again and deactivates the sensor.
